Fortress and Castle of Agazzano
It’s the main place of the most important town in the valley. Scotti’s property since the XIII century, it still belongs to princess Luisa Gonzaga Anguissola Scotti. The fortress, accessible by means of two opposing flights of stairs, overlooks a charming courtyard, a synthesis between the austerity of medieval architecture and the elegance of the Renaissance mansion. The castle, become at the end of XVIII century an aristocratic residence, preserves elegant furniture and precious frescoes and decorations
