In the little burg of Soragna, in the plain lands of the country, where Giuseppe Verdi born and worked, the music is in the air, in every thing, into the walls of the ancient monasteries, churches and castles. Here's a XVIII century inn, built by Meli Lupi prince, lord of this lands. The relais keeps its original atmosphere with ancient furnitures, XVI century Italian paintings and its floor paved with bricks. You'll give yourself a cultural weekend among the Lowlands' castles: Fontanellato, San Secondo, Colorno and - of course - Soragna fortress.
