The suggestive roads: un two wheels through Trebbia Valley and Nure Valley
Saturday: motor ride on the suggestive Statale 45 (national road 45) which through winding bends and breathtaking panoramas reaches the high Trebbia Valley. Arrival at Brugnello, ancient and picturesque medieval fortress characterized by stone houses which falls sheer on the Trebbia river, accomodation in hotel and lunch. In the afternoon again on the road and when reaching Ponte Organasco you depart from the main route following direction Cerignale, going along a loop which will bring to Ottone passing through Cariseto, Selva, and Rovereto. Again on the national road going back to the Trebbia Valley till Bobbio, suggestive medieval burg with porticoed squares and paved streets , which from a quiet city in the Apennines during the summer week ends is becoming a lively motorbike showing off and where the pubs and restaurant in the open are animated with music and light in the late afternoon. Characteristic dinner in refined restaurant in the historic center. Return to the hotel. Sunday: relaxing breakfast in the characteristic open gallery of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view , which will make you regret having spent only one night in this enchanting place , out of the world. Then again on the road the Statale 45, when reaching Marsaglia you start a loop route really unforgettable which through the Passo Del Mercatello (mountain pass) lead to the high Nure Valley near Ferriere. Here the gourmets can stop in a characteristic eatery where with warm and genuine welcoming you can overlook the entire valley during summer and in winter you can get warm in front of the fireplace. After lunch you proceed towards Farini and then Bettola. Here you leave the main route and following the indication for Perino you cross the Passo Del Cerro (Cerro pass) to arrive again to the Trebbia Valley. Here you take again Statale 45 down to Piacenza!
